Wanna know the secrets to writing a great college admissions essay? You, my friend, are in luck…thanks to my brother Luke.

The other day Luke (Age: 17. Facebook Relationship Status: Single. Looking for: Girls) came to me asking for advice about his college admission essay. That reminded me of a workshop I taught a few years ago on this very subject.

I dug up the DVD and discovered that although my speaking (and fashion) skills were kinda lacking back then, the video is packed with useful info.

“Free Fallin” video

I’ve just posted a video of the “Free Falling” parody I sing when I speak to student groups.

This was recorded in front of 600 college students here in DC this past January. Since it was a college crowd, I added a more “edgy” third verse–I don’t include it when I perform for high schoolers.

The song is basically a bunch of references to stories that I tell in my speeches. Here are links to videos of all these stories:
