My first of two school assemblies today in PA.
Two students here, Anne and Katie, were nice enough to read my recent blog post about my favorite songs and then play them as people walked into the auditorium. Tight!

Hey, i just wanted to say that todays assembly was absolutly amzaing. You were possibly one of the best speakers I’ve ever heard, i didnt get the time to see you today but you’ve insipred me alot. I know as i walked around today in the halls of West York- i heard so many complements about you. I hope everything keeps going well for you.

omg u were so funny my brother and i knew what kinda stuff u went through bcuz our dad(rip12-24-04) had his leg amputated and now my brother wants to make a leg lamp out of his prostecit legs

Best…speech…ever! Your story really touched me. One thing I’ve never done is let my Cleft Lip and Palate slow me down! You’ve inspired me to shoot for the stars (cause in a few years I’ll be one! lol).

Hey Josh! Just wanted to say that I really loved your speech today! It was so great, and you are absolutely hilarious. Your stories were awesome. I particularly liked the one with your pick-up line because that’s actually how my boyfriend got me to start “dating” him. Haha. I also really loved your pendulum kick. Good stuff dude. Kudos. :]

i was really diggin what you were saying. i heard the message the whole time threw even when you snuck it in the funny parts. you really help a lot of people nd you are right, everything does happen for a reason. i found my uncle dead when i was eight nd i think back on it alot, wondering what if, but there is no what if. because it happened. the same with your situation. you just have to keep going threw life doing the best you can with what you got and good things will come your way i mean it was crazy the way you were running around. swinging around. kicking up there i know people with two legs tht would make a fool of themselves trying to do tht. all im sayin is you were great nd im glad you came today cuz theres a lot of people tht needed to hear tht message. keep rockin. i just wanted to say that all day today i was talking about you. My friend was having a problem and i remembered what you said today at school (west york) and i told her what you told us. life is tough but life is beautiful. Sometimes tough situations can have a positive outcome. Anyways, i think i made her feel better. Your story was insightful and made me sit back and think. Thank you for being positive and accomplishing all that you have. By you doing this you made me want to.

Hey Josh, just wanted to say thanks so much for speaking to our school yesterday. It was like a real inspiration to hear about how you look at life as beautiful, my sis hurt her shoulder towards the end of summer and is supposed to be in this big sling for up to 18 months if all goes well, then possibly have surgery. I think if she hears about your stories and all she’ll really start looking for the positive side to all this going on. I think just about everyone at WY can take alot of lessons from your assembly,thanks again!(:
